Last Rise 2009 Newsletter
Dear Angling Friends,
This is our 1st Newsletter with the season closing of our second year into the transfer transition of the company. We had a challenging season again this year with unusually bad weather, two weeks of high water levels and we felt the crunch of the financial economic downturn with several cancellations. However, despite all of that we still consider that we had a good season and thank you all for your continued loyal support.
Conservation Plan
100% Catch & Release is 100% supported by all and will continue to be mandatory.

All fish must be released by everyone including staff Post & Pre-Guests Season. |
Business Plan
We are offering week “0” again in 2010 at a reduced price and believe it has great potential for good fishing with mostly early big fish! (See pre-season stats) All other weeks will increase in cost by 3%; weeks 1, 7, 8 will be discounted and weeks 2 thru 6 remain evenly valued for 2010.

Please remember to book your airline flights to arrive Deer Lake on Saturdays and depart late afternoon on Sundays or to be safe, on Mondays in the event of bad weather. Reservations are made at the Deer Lake Motel FOR ALL Saturdays; Please let us know if you need one for the Sunday coming out. It is very importance to keep luggage light and not bring any bulky large rod cases or coolers or booze. Please send us your wish list ahead of time and we'll have it at the camp for you. Air transportation will be with Ron Letto's Strait Air using Twin Engine Aircraft between Deer Lake and Blanc Sablon and Beaver Floatplane in and out of camp.
We respectfully request that you confirm your reservations with deposits no later than December 1st! We thank you again and look forward to seeing you next year!
